  • The Power of Gratitude 90mins

    ‘Wear gratitude like a cloak and it will sustain every corner of your life.’ - Rumi

    Gratitude has proven to be one of the major cornerstones to sustainable happiness. We express gratitude most days with a courtesy thank you’s but the enrichment and positivity we can enjoy from truly seeing and appreciating the good in our lives can often need nurturing.

    Especially as we live in a world where we are told we need ‘things’ or particular circumstances to be happy. Shifting our focus to what we do have rather than what we don’t have makes us more optimistic and increases life’s potency. In this workshop Happiness facilitator and Meditation teacher Emmeline will take you through some beautiful gratitude activities you can use every day and discuss the power of consciously making gratitude part of your life.

    You will get crafty making your own gratitude jars to take home and share with loves ones. The session will close with a healing gratitude meditation and resources handed out. This workshop is wonderful for group settings, where people have the opportunity to share in each others joy.

  • Finding Compassion - 90 mins

    This workshop is ideal for those working in the care sector, although all can benefit from skills based on being kinder to ourselves. Self-criticism can make us feel isolated, gaining an understanding into how as humans, we are wired to compared and judge ourselves we can begin to make a change.

    This space offers an opportunity for you to explore how you are treating yourself, shredding self-limiting beliefs and turning your inner critic into your inner couch.

    Emmeline will take you through a number of beautiful exercises to begin your compassionate journey, offer handout resources and close the session with a healing, self-compassion meditation.

    Additional: You can add a 45 min yoga and breath work session to this workshop to compliment the self-compassion aspects.

  • Discovering Happiness - 90mins

    Did you know you can learn to be happy? While jumping for joy the moment we wake every day is an unrealistic expectation, we can train our mindset in a way which allows positivity to flourish every day. For truly sustainable happiness we need a toolkit of purpose, peace and self-care.

    During this workshop, happiness facilitator Emmeline will invite you to create your own model for happiness, discuss how to boast resilience and increase optimism base on science-back techniques.

    With mini mindful meditations scattered throughout the workshop, you will learn skills for happiness while enjoying relaxation and sharing in your challenges and joy as a group.

    Additional: You can add a 45 min yoga and breath work session to this workshop to compliment the self-compassion aspects.

  • Chakra Cleansing Ritual - 90 mins

    This spiritual workshop is hosted by Sakura’s yoga teacher Terence, allowing you to unblock and balance your chakras through movement and meditation.

    Chakras are the energy centres that allow our to body to receive, create and store our non-physical energy or ‘prana’. These centres can become blocked through trauma, poor lifestyle habits, stress, lack of sleep and more. These blockages in the chakras cause imbalances which manifest themselves both emotionally and physically.

    Terence will guide you in a healing chakra flow to allow cleansing prana to harmonise and balance the body and mind. The session will close with a visualisation meditation to allow deep shifts within and harness the body natural healing abilities.

  • Mindfulness - 120 mins

    We have lived a culture where burnout had been worn like a badge of honour, but the tide is turning as we discover how this in fact makes us less productive, less creative and ultimately unhappy. Mindfulness is very much the ‘vogue’ word right now as the antidote to stress, but what does it mean? How can we become more mindful in our daily lives?

    In this 2-hour workshop Yoga teacher Terence will take you through some mindful movement to help rebalance energies and guide the group in healing breath work, that can be done at home, on the train and even as your desk.

    Mediation teacher and Happiness Facilitator Emmeline will introduce the concept of mindfulness, how it can be used to help switch on your soothe system and turn off your threat system, fed by chronic daily stress. This workshop includes handout resources and a steppingstone towards a healthier, happier lifestyle. Emmeline will close the session with a healing mediation and sound bath with the crystal quartz singing bowls.
